In May 2002 this memorial to the Long Range Patrol and Long Range Desert Group was unveiled at a Military Camp in South Auckland.

All veterans and families of the Long Range Patrol and Long Range Desert Group are welcome to visit this memorial, including those from G, Y and S patrols, but you must get prior permission to visit. Contact the Long Range Desert Group (NZ) Association through their Secretary Ian Judge, 13 Pohutukawa Drive, Hamilton, or telephone - 64-7-849 2450 or fax -64-7-849 2470. Please allow time for this permission to be granted.
