Presentation to Peg and Ian

pegandian.jpg - 19kb At the last meeting of the NZ LRDG Association there was discussion about how we could recognise the work Ian and Peggy Judge have done for the Association. They have worked tirelessly for the Association and kept it going over many years.

These two people organise the reunions, deal with much correspondence including newsletters, keep the finances in order, work with other organisations, especially in regard to the LRDG memorial wall and memorial window, and generally do a lot of work for the Association, all voluntary. Members are extremely grateful for all that they do.

Among other ideas, Buster Gibb suggested that he had just finished an embroidery of the LRDG logo, and would like to present it to Ian and Peggy. It just needed framing. A few weeks after this reunion, sadly, Buster unexpectedly died.

The next opportunity for the LRDG members and families to gather came in December. At this gathering Buster's family arrived with this magnificent embroidered logo and presented it to Ian and Peggy.
