Mohaka School and Marae
The Old School House. School Opened in February 1880.
Present School. Opened June 1949.
School Baths completed December 1 1964. Before this Swimming lessons were at the beach.
Most of this used to be the Horse Paddock, where horses ridden to school were left to graze for the day.
The Mohaka Round Hall, part of the marae.
Tree, with hollow trunk, which seems to have stood at the entrance to the marae forever.
