The siege of Giarabub was Les' first operation with T Patrol
T Patrol relieved R Patrol who were helping the Australians in the siege of Giarabub in February 1941

Last Glimpse of Citadel Barracks 1941.
Just before pulling out with a new fleet of Trucks.
T Patrol took 4 of the new Ford V8s out to Giarabub as their Chev's were all being serviced. They then used R Patrol Trucks, and R Patrol returned in these 4 Ford V8s.

Jallo Fort
Jallo Oasis captured off Italians by our T Patrol
White flags were flying above the fort when they arrived, and no Italians were to be seen.
